Porto Reports is an initiative by Dr. William Porto to offer quality content and services on science. The Porto Reports core is bioinformatis and the bioinformatics core is sequence alignment, thus, our logo is a sequence alignment.
Our research is primarily focused on structure and function of antimicrobial peptides; effects on protein strucure caused by missense mutation driven by single nucleotide polymorphisms; and related subjects.
We develop open-source software and also web-services in order to turn science accessible to many researchers.
Our mission is to develop science and software to develop more science.
